Sal Braico - President and CEO. Before co-founding Flex Biomedical, Sal was the Chief Operating Officer of ConjuGon, an antibacterial biotech company, from 2002 to 2008. He has an MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a BS in Marine Engineering from the US Merchant Marine Academy. Sal also served as a Lieutenant in the US Naval Reserve.

Charlie Goff - Mr. Goff is the President and General Partner of NEW Capital of Appleton, WI. Since starting NEW Capital in 2006, Mr. Goff has invested in 11 Wisconsin-based early stage businesses. Mr. Goff
currently serves on the board of directors of Azco, Inc., Keller, Inc., Frozen Codebase, LLC, Rapid Diagnostek, Inc., Xolve, Inc., Renovar, Inc., and Aurizon Ultrasonics, LLC. Previously he founded Forward Enterprises, Inc., a distributor of industrial piping products serving the pulp and paper industry and mechanical contractors. Over 18 years, Forward Enterprises expanded to five locations in three states, $30 million in revenue, and 75 employees. Mr. Goff sold Forward to Ferguson Enterprises in 1998 and subsequently worked as the General Manager of Ferguson¹s Northeast Wisconsin division. Mr. Goff earned a degree in Math and Computer Science from UW-Oshkosh and an MBA from UW-Madison.

Nicholas Mischler, MD - Dr. Mischler is a serial innovator and entrepreneur: developer of five community clinics in Southern Wisconsin and the Meriter Hospital Cancer Clinic, one of the founders of Southern Wisconsin Radiotherapy Center. Nick earned a BA (magna cum laude) from Marquette University, an MD from the University of Pennsylvania, and an MS from the University of Wisconsin. He completed his internal medicine and oncology training at the Universities of Iowa and Wisconsin, respectively, and served in the United States Armed Forces as a Navy flight surgeon. Dr. Mischler is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Physician Executives.

Steven R. Pollock, RPh, MBA - Steve has been in the pharmaceutical industry for over 25 years. He currently is the Vice President of Research and Development at Promentis Pharmaceuticals, Inc., an early-stage pharmaceutical development group focusing on creating new treatments for schizophrenia and other neurological disorders. Steve earned a BS in Pharmacy from the University of Wisconsin, and is a licensed Pharmacist. His MBA was awarded by Western Michigan University.

Don Urbanowicz - Don Urbanowicz recently retired from Stryker Orthopedics where he led business development since 2001. Mr. Urbanowicz has over 30 years of experience in the medical device industry, including senior positions at Stryker, Aircast, Sofamor Danek, and Smith&Nephew.
